Most actors don't like working with children, but Costner seems to do well with that and does not suffer for it. don't get bogged down in reality when you are looking at something meant to entertain. Costner delivers as well but sometimes the script and his "accent" is a little awkward at "tender" moments but there are not a lot of them fortunately. Waterworld is one of those movies that has always simply entertained me! I'm not looking for some "realistic" look at the future or believable story line but simply an escape from reality and of course this movie delivers with some real tongue in cheek moments.
